Why Get a Jewellery Valuation?

A jewellery valuation is essential to ensure your items are properly covered. Insurance companies require an up-to-date valuation to provide accurate cover in the event of theft, loss, or damage.

Valuations are also important if you’re selling a piece, managing an estate, or simply curious about the current market value of your jewellery. With the prices of diamonds, gold, platinum, and watches frequently changing, it’s recommended that valuations are updated every 2 to 5 years to reflect current values.

Engagement & Wedding Bands

These are often among the most sentimental — and valuable — pieces people own. A current valuation ensures they are fully covered under your insurance policy, offering protection if the unthinkable happens.

Diamond Jewellery

From solitaire pendants to tennis bracelets and earrings, diamond jewellery requires specialised assessment. Our valuations reflect the current retail replacement value based on the quality of the diamonds and the materials used.

Gold & Platinum Jewellery

The value of gold, platinum, and other precious metals rises and falls with the global market. Whether it’s a simple chain or a detailed bracelet, we ensure your valuation reflects today’s metal prices.

Luxury Watches

Brands like Rolex, Omega, Cartier, and others often hold or even increase in value. A professional valuation confirms the authenticity, condition, and current market value of your timepiece — essential for insurance or resale.

Vintage & Antique Pieces

Older jewellery often carries unique craftsmanship and historical significance. Whether it’s a family heirloom or a vintage find, our valuation recognises both its intrinsic and historical value.

Bespoke Jewellery

Bespoke designs are irreplaceable in both sentimental and financial terms. Our detailed assessments take into account the craftsmanship, design complexity, and materials to determine an accurate replacement cost.
